The matter to take cognizance of the charge sheet filed against Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in the Land for Labor case has been adjourned till August 8.

It said clearance was not obtained from the competent authority against Lalu Prasad Yadav, an accused in the case, and two railway officials, so the Rouse Avenue court could not take cognizance of the charge sheet.

The CBI told the court that it has not yet received the part against Lalu Prasad Yadav and others from the concerned department, so the proceedings in the matter should be postponed. Based on this request by the CBI, the Rouse Avenue court adjourned the hearing to August 8.

Let us tell you that apart from Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad Yadav, and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi there are 17 accused in this case for land instead of working in Indian Railways.

He is accused of letting the land be written off instead of giving him a job on the railroad. However, Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi are already out on bail in this case. The CBI is probing the Land for Job scam, while the ED is probing the money laundering aspects of the case.
